DuPage Education Foundation
The DuPage Education Foundation filed for incorporation with the Illinois Secretary of State Office on December 29, 2004. The name of the registered agent was Francis Thomas Cermak and the three members of the board were Mr. George Clam, Jim Bauer, and Francis Cermak.
The DuPage Education Foundation was organized as a 501c (3) to focus on the following:
Educational
Charitable
Civic
Literary
The purpose of the DuPage Education Foundation is to provide an array of educational services to DuPage County youth in grades preschool through high school and their families.
The Internal Revenue Service informed the DuPage Education Foundation Inc on September 30, 2005 that their application for tax exempt status was granted under Section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that this exemption had an effective date of December 29, 2004.
Since its inception the foundation has worked with the following projects:
Backpack Contribution Program
Parents as Teachers
Civic Education
Project FORWARD an Obesity Program
National Board Certified Teachers
