Dr. Darlene Ruscitti Joins in Honoring High School Students at the Illinois Principals Association Recognition Breakfast
Dr Darlene Ruscitti joined in congratulating honorees at the annual Illinois Principals Association’s Student Recognition Breakfast on Wednesday, May 12th at the Hilton Hotel in Lisle.
The Illinois Principals Association annually recognizes two students from each high school nominated by their Principal’s for doing excelling in academics, citizenship, and overall improvement or other criteria created by individual Principals.
Former Chicago Bear Revie Sorey, who is actively involved in service in DuPage
County, was the keynote speaker at the event. Through his personal story he challenged the students to continue to set high expectations for themselves and to work hard to achieve them.
Two students from the ROE’s School, Partners for Success, Seniors Jessica R. and Haxhi M. were honored at the program. The two, who have been at Partners since the fall of 2009, were recognized by their Principal, Dr. Warletta Brookins for their leadership and organization skills demonstrated during the school year.
