Celebrate Constitution
Day
On September 17, 1787 the U.S.
Constitution was signed by thirty-nine
brave men who changed the course of
history. Celebration of Constitution Day
demonstrates our love for the United
States of America and the blessings of
freedom our Founding Fathers secured for
us. This celebration is a time for us to
continue their legacy and develop habits
of citizenship in a new generation of
Americans.
The websites listed below, along with
many other resources, provide
information about our constitution and
games and activities for parents and
teachers to use to inform and excite
students about our nation’s history.
Understanding our past and appreciating
what it means to be an American are
necessary traits to instill in today’s
youth.
