The DuPage ROE Honors the McCormick Foundation as a “Friend of
Education”
Dr. Darlene Ruscitti and the DuPage Regional
Office of Education recently honored the McCormick Foundation as a Friend of
Education at the annual Area 1 ROE’s luncheon.
The McCormick Foundation is great supporter of the
DuPage ROE, partnering on
multiple projects over the years to promote civic engagement of our students,
and civic educational resources for our schools and teachers. Together with the
DuPage ROE, they have been instrumental in promoting Democracy Schools, and the
Civics instruction for all students. Accepting the award from the McCormick
Foundation is Shawn Healy, former DuPage educator and lead partner with many of
these initiatives.
